The Linville River Bridge Trail is located at Blue Ridge Parkway mile marker number 316.5. Traveling north on the Blue Ridge Parkway, take a left toward the Linville Picnic Area and then another left before entering the picnic area. The trail is located at the far end of the Linville River Parking Area.

Walking the 500 feet to the Linville River, you'll notice the picnic area on your right. There are plenty of picnic tables, however at peak hours you'll be hard pressed to find an empty one. Along with picnic tables, you will also find rest rooms and water fountains.

Once you reach the Linville River, looking to the left you will see one of the Blue Ridge Parkway's largest stone arch bridges. Traveling above on the Blue Ridge Parkway, you would probably never even know you were passing over one of the Parkway's most majestic bridges.
